Then, we took the Metro to the 9th arrondissement where Mark had bought a Living Social deal at Matsusaka, a Japanese restaurant where we had a "sushi boat" which was a shipload of sushi and sashimi, more than either of us has ever eaten. It was enough for four people....and then, it was followed by some skewers of meat, followed by some melon. Wow. Very full, we decided to walk home to work off some of the food! It was not a traditional Easter, but a special one.

Easter in Paris, March 31
We had such a lovely day. We lost two hours because of both springing ahead and a time zone, so had a late start. We decided to stroll down the Champs Élysées. And, for a while we had sun! We started around the Pyramides and waked to the Arch de Triumph, stopping along the way to have a hamburger (!) at Quick Burger. But, it was right on the Champs Élysées and it did have a needed toilette. We circled the Arch and then strolled down the Rue St. Honored with its designer stores. We saw the palace of the president of France along our stroll. After about three hours of strolling we came back to rest a bit and do a wash.
