Leaving Vienna Part 6 - May 8, 9

 We all had a quiet day today - starting to pack up and clean up.

  Michael and Nancy took a tram ride and a walk/shop around.

  We walked to St Stephen's Church where we met Amanda Read (Kugler) and then walked to a lovely cafe for coffee and asparagus soup. Mark had Amanda in both 7th and 8th grade for English. She married an Austrian and has lived in Vienna for 7 years. We sat for about 3 hours just chatting and chatting and chatting. She teaches business English here and her husband is a historian. It was a lovely, lovely time.

   Then Mark made a stew with our leftovers.
   We have all been impressed and happy in Vienna. The apartment is in a fabulous location and we have been able to walk every where.
