We went to N.H. to be introduced to Christian, our newest grandchild, born on February 17. So, he is only a month old and doing round-the-clock nursing, as they do.
Then, it was back to Concord. We drove down to see Carol, Rob, Sandy and Jackie one day in Bridgewater. Carol gave us some sea scallops which Mark made for dinner.
The next day, our flight was at 10 p.m.. Willy kept us busy by taking us to Plum Island to bird watch. We saw, among other birds, 2 bald eagles, a snowy owl, and a Life Bird for us - the rough-legged hawk. It was sunny, breezy and quite cold. And, it was a great distraction, especially for Barbara.
We drove to Alec and Juliann's new house in West Roxbury where we marveled at all their renovations. We parked the truck in their driveway and they kindly drove us to Logan Airport to catch our Norwegian Air flight. The new Global Access cards did absolutely no good - they did not shorten, or allow us to skip any lines. Oh well. But, we did go to the "Executive Club" for a snack while waiting because we had upgraded our tickets to have more leg room and fully cancellable tickets.
The flight was smooth and on time. We had decent food, oodles of leg room and can recommend Norwegian Air.
