Today was a nice relaxing day after our long trip here. We both slept till 8 o'clock.
The Ashe Hotel is quite luxurious and we had an amazing breakfast with cappucinos and a made-to-order omelette and an egg on English muffin with fresh spinach, not to mention fruits galore.
Afterwards, we wandered town, visiting a park where there was a monument to Neil Armstrong who gave one of his rare public appearances here. The Dingle Way also starts in the park, but we are skipping that bit of the hike.

We found a bank, got some Euros and had tea and scones for a late lunch/snack. We found a sign memorializing Robert Emmet. (My Dad was Robert Emmett and one of our grandsons is Henry (Hank) Emmett. Both have the extra 't.'

We went to Junction Station (used to be called Fitzgerald's) which far exceeded our expectations which was good as it is the only one close to us. We both had local fish - one fish & chips (haddock) and one baked (hake). So good
. We finished by sharing a chocolate fudge cake & vanilla ice cream. Now we are organized for our first hike
