Last Day in San Diego: Art & Friends, April 8 - Onto Redondo Beach

On our last day in San Diego, we packed up the apartment and then took another wonderful morning walk around the Bay.
Then we drove up to White Sands to meet Frank and Linda and the four of us walked to the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla which overlooks the water. It is a small and manageable museum.

We were told that this symbolizes many things: ace being the top card, ace being someone skilled at things etc etc.

Afterwards, we had a lovely lunch outside at the museum's cafe which is overhung with wisteria.

Then, Mark drove to Redondo Beach which is in southern Los Angeles where Barbara's 2nd cousin once removed, Clare, lives with her husband Chris. The traffic was pretty intense most of the way. But, we found our way and then we all went out to eat in their neighborhood at a good taco place called Good Stuff.
