Snow....to palm trees....- Day 21

We drove 530 miles today over a great variety of terrain. Stark mountains, to flatland, to beautiful pine and snow-covered hills, down into the desert. We started with freezing temperatures and ended up in the 70's. We drove from Santa Fe to Phoenix. We think we have seen the last of the snow, except in the tops of mountains. The last of the snow was south of Flagstaff. We are now in the palm tress. At last - some warmth! It was easy to do so much driving today as the view out the window was spectacular and kept changing.
